company Shine which she founded in 2001. Shine is one of the UK’s
Top 20 production companies and is responsible for quality
programming such as the award-winning Hexon Sky One, Sugar Rush
for Channel 4, Masterchef Goes Large for BBC Two and 100 Greatest…
for Channel 4.
Before setting up Shine, Elisabeth was MD of BSkyB Networks, where she was responsible for all of the network’s non-sport output and the group’s consumer marketing division. At BSkyB Elisabeth oversaw record viewing figures for Sky One, launched the UK’s first Pay Per View service and multiplex film channels, and re-launched the company’s consumer brand. Prior to arriving in the UK, Elisabeth owned and operated two NBC affiliate stations in the United States.
