Daisy runs her own production company, Silver River, which specialises
in factual, factual entertainment, features and comedy. She joined
Talkback Productions in 1998 as Head of Factual. She quickly rose to
become Editorial Director, Talkback Productions where she stayed until
June 2005. Her credits spread across the BBC, Channel 4 and Five, read
like a roll call of lifestyle TV: How Clean Is Your House?, Too Posh To
Wash, Jamie’s Kitchen, Grand Designs, Other Peoples Houses, Property
Ladder, She’s Gotta Have It (Channel 4); House Doctor, Life Doctor
(Channel 5); Would Like To Meet, Your Money Or Your Life, Life

Daisy, a Harkness scholar who attended Columbia Film School after reading history at Cambridge University, began her TV career at the BBC as an arts producer. At Television Centre, she made films about literary figures, and devised Bookwormand The Nation’s Favourite PoemsInitiative. Whilst at the BBC she also devised the hugely successful shows Looking Good and Home Front.
She also finds time to dream up and edit poetry anthologies, including the bestseller 101 Poems That Could Save Your Life and her latest book, Poems for Bedtime, released in October 2005. She made her debut as a presenter in the BBC Two production of Essential Poems (To Fall In Love With) followed by Essential Byron and Essential Poems for Britain. Her latest offering Essential Poems for Christmas will be transmitted on the BBC in December 2005.
