Jeremy Isaacs

Sir Jeremy Isaacs is one of Britain's premier television executives and
filmmakers. Throughout his career, Sir Jeremy has produced awardwinning
programming, notably for ITV and the BBC. From 1981 to
1987 he was the founding Chief Executive of Channel Four Television.
He then became General Director of the Royal Opera House, Covent
Garden from 1988-1997. Sir Jeremy is the founding Chairman of
Artsworld, digital arts channel for the UK and Irish Republic, which he
launched in October 2000. Sir Jeremy is a past Governor of the
British Film Institute, and is currently a fellow of BAFTA.
