Julia Jordan was appointed Executive Director Business Strategy, Flextech & UKTV in 2003. Her role was created to enable greater communication between Flextech, UKTV, the channels and IDS to ensure that Flextech's content and brands have optimal commercial focus. Prior to this, she was executive director business strategy, interactive digital sales (ids), directing the business and brand strategy teams, which formed the primary interface with Flextech, UKTV and third party clients, in addition to managing trade marketing and supporting the sales and negotiation strategy within ids. Her career in TV sales began with Anglia TV, progressing to TSMS, Channel 4 and NBC before joining UK Gold Broadcasting in 1996, subsequently merging into Flextech.
