David Docherty has been Chief Executive, YooMedia since 2003. His previous career includes: Research Fellow, British Film Institute, 1984–90 (author of three books on LWT, Channel 4, British Cinema); various roles at the BBC, 1991–2000, including Deputy Director of TV, Director of New Media, Member of Board of Management; MD Broadband Content, Telewest in 2003. He has written three novels (The Spirit Death, The Killing Jar, The Fifth Season). He is a member of various not for profit boards, including BARB, Royal Television Society and was Chairman and Pro-Vice Chancellor, University of Luton 2001–2005.
