Helen Calcraft is managing partner at Miles Calcraft Briginshaw Duffy. She joined ad agency AMV BBDO in 1989 as a trainee account manager. She was promoted to the board in 1996 and then to New Business Director in 1997. In 1999 she left to found MCBD. The agency counts Debenhams, Metropolitan Police, Bell's Whisky, COI, Tetley Tea, Thorntons and Travelocity amongst its clients, and has become a top 25 agency in less than six years. She has just concluded her year as President of Women in Advertising and Communications London.
